Executive recruiting since 1992. One of the most common questions I get asked is, “What areas of recruiting do you specialize in?” My answer is always, “Helping WNY businesses find amazing WNY talent.” It has been in manufacturing, engineering, human resources, sales or any other professional area.
The 12 years prior to joining DeBellis & Catherine Associates, he held human resources generalist positions at United Airlines, Merck Pharmaceuticals and M&T bank, specializing in recruiting and training. Vince holds a dual BS from State University College at Buffalo in business administration and education. He was named partner in January 2006 forming the new name of DeBellis, Catherine & Morreale.

Michael DeBellis, Jr.
Executive Recruiter, Emeritus Partner
Recruitment professional since 1978 with disciplines in sales / marketing, engineering, manufacturing, accounting / finance, human resources and general management. Previous experience includes college recruiting, advertising / sales promotions and Fortune 500 consumer product sales. He started in the business with AFCO Personnel in 1978 and left as assistant manager in 1982 to form DeBellis Associates. Joe Catherine joined Mike in July 1983 and formed DeBellis & Catherine Associates. Longtime employee Vince Morreale was named partner in 2006 and the name changed to DeBellis, Catherine, Morreale – corporate staffing. Mike holds a BS in business management / marketing from SUNY Empire State College. Mike is a former member of the executive board of the WNY Chapter of the American Heart Association, member of the board of directors of Heritage Christian Services, past board member and vice president of the board of governors at the Park Country Club in Williamsville, NY and actively participates as a volunteer with Special Olympics and various activities with children & adults with special needs. He is an avid golfer and has published his first children’s book, called “Charlie and the Cardboard Box, ” a story about a little boy who needs to use a wheelchair. The book illustrates that despite disabilities, these kids have the same dreams and aspirations as everyone else.
Joseph Catherine

Recruitment professional since 1970 with disciplines in accounting / finance, construction management and banking, manufacturing, and human resources. He started in the business with AFCO Personnel Services in 1970 and after two years was appointed manager and then managing partner. Joe merged AFCO Personnel Services in 1983 at which time he and Mike DeBellis founded DeBellis & Catherine Associates. Joe attended SUNY at Buffalo studying liberal arts and sociology. He was active with the Niagara Falls & Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, executive committee for the Porter Cup amateur golf tournament and was on the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation Board of Directors. He is currently an active member with the Williamsville Rotary Club.
Holly Liberto
President of Recruitment
Executive recruiting since 2006, specializing in the placement of professionals nationwide in the areas of marketing, digital marketing, analytics, sales, operations, human resources, finance/accounting, supply chain/logistics, and many more.
Holly is a results-driven professional with almost 20 years of recruiting experience. She has transitioned her experience in the marketing field into recruiting and has had successes placing candidates from the c-suite level to manager level. She works in various industries such as: CPG, pharmaceutical/biotechnology, retail, agency/management consulting, logistics, and many others.
Holly holds a B.A. in arts & sciences from Syracuse University.

Courtney Karl
Director of Recruitment
Courtney has worked in the recruitment industry since 2013 and is currently the director of recruitment. She specializes in placing candidates within marketing, sales, and analytics across various industries nationwide. By working to develop close relationships, she is able to effectively match the right candidates with the right clients, and as a valued resource to both parties throughout the process. Her favorite thing about recruiting is hearing how candidates have found success and career growth within their new companies.
Before recruiting, she worked in digital marketing, specializing in search engine marketing. She holds an MBA from Canisius College and a bachelor’s degree from Niagara University, where she also played Division 1 soccer.

Rachel Wasserman
Vice President of Marketing Recruitment
Executive recruiting in the marketing industry since 1999, Rachel specializes in the recruitment of direct/database/digital/analytical/CRM/e-commerce marketing professionals nationwide. In her previous role as managing director, Rachel built a team of three recruiters to meet the demands of her thriving clientele. Rachel has placed hundreds of marketing professionals across the country in major corporations, retailers, e-tailers, agencies, suppliers, consulting firms and startup companies, ranging from C-Level to individual contributors. Rachel has also worked in marketing management account services at UPSHOT (clients included: Coca-Cola Brands, Jim Beam Brands, Procter & Gamble and Sony Electronics) and BBDO Atlanta (client: Delta Airlines). Rachel holds a B.A. in journalism from The Ohio State University.

Peggy Koch
Vice President, National Recruiter
Peggy joined our staff in 2020 bringing 15 years of recruiting experience, and 20+ years of solid experience to the DCM team! In addition to her degree in Marketing from SUNY Alfred State, she has a demonstrated history in successful placements in the areas of Marketing, Legal, Human Resources, Medical, Accounting/Finance and Engineering. Peggy prides herself on working tirelessly to help clients and candidates alike find a great fit for their businesses and careers. Taking her passion for recruitment outside of the workplace, Peggy has used her volunteer time to speak at local colleges to help student-candidates early on in their careers with critical skills for future success such as guidance on creating a solid resume, conducting a successful job search, and the all-important interview preparation.
When not working hard recruiting, Peggy enjoys traveling and exploring new places, gardening, and baking.
Emily Hain

Emily has been recruiting since 2019. She has national recruiting experience, primarily focused in healthcare but is excited to transition her specialty into the marketing and analytics sector. Emily is a graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo and has previous work experience in politics, project management and insurance. She is passionate about helping candidates find opportunities where their careers can thrive! When she’s not working, Emily enjoys spending her time listening to music and podcasts, traveling, watching the Buffalo Bills and being outdoors in the warmer months.
Theodore Morreale
Director of Stress Reduction
Bringing 9 months of being cute and 6 months of stress reduction experience, Theodore (Teddy) joins the DCM team to focus on bringing joy to the office. With his thoughtful greetings to each individual that walks through our doors, to his sneaky ability to know when each person is eating their lunch, he keeps everyone in the office on their toes. When he's not reducing the stress around the office, his favorite activities include playing fetch and occasionally trying to bite an ankle.
