Why Western New York?
When we ask our customers who have relocated to Western New York, (either for first time residents or those who left the area and then “came home”) some of the most frequent comments we hear are that it’s a great place to raise a family, having all four seasons is wonderful, and you can’t beat the food! WNY includes the cities of Buffalo, Rochester, Niagara Falls, and surrounding suburbs. If it were counted as a single area, the population would exceed 2.5 million. Boasting 31 colleges and universities, including the largest public university in New York State, the University at Buffalo, it’s the perfect area to seek higher education. The list of “things to do” includes sites such as Niagara Falls (undoubtedly the most famous attraction in WNY). Forming part of our border with Canada, the Falls has evolved into a major destination for tourists and locals alike. On the opposite side, Letchworth State Park located just 35 miles south of Rochester, has been termed "The Grand Canyon of the East." Whether visiting the Falls, heading off to a Buffalo Bills or Sabres game, enjoying a quick trip to nearby Toronto, or catching a Broadway musical at Sheas Performing Arts Center, the WNY area has much to offer!
