Senior Director of Digital Marketing: New England area, VT

The Senior Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for development, budgeting and execution of the digital marketing plans that drives direct sales across the business with an emphasis within the brands.  The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to identify, prioritize and implement digital marketing strategies that maximize sales and margins.   Direct experience with ad campaigns within Google, Facebook and Amazon are a requirement, in addition to managing an email marketing program.  Additional experience is necessary in managing a cross functional team and to take the strategic initiatives into executable plans.
 
This role will work with both the Merchandising and Product Information teams as well as work closely with the Product Development, Creative, Ecommerce and Analysis teams. 
 
Responsibilities: 

  • Effectively integrate and execute strategic and tactical marketing initiatives
  • Analyze existing processes and develop efficiencies where needed
  • Manage, train & develop direct reports within the digital marketing team
  • Vendor Management with digital partners, such as; Bronto, AdMixt, Sidecar, etc.
  • Manage team to drive organic social media, influencer marketing, and overall online brand presence and engagement
  • Work with the full marketing team to integrate marketing campaigns with merchandising strategies.
  • Work with respective departments to continually improve conversion, average order and repeat rate for all visitors.
  • Research market trends, digital marketing strategies, and competitive analysis to identify new advertising opportunities.
  • Assist with sales & marketing insight to provide future strategic direction

 
Requirements: 

  • At least 10 years of digital marketing experience preferably in an ecommerce direct to consumer business
  • Experience managing a team of digital & email marketers
  • Ability to project manage across multi-team functions
  • Ability to multi-task along with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to balance analytics with business insights in order to optimize sales
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Adwords & Analytics.
