Search Engine Marketing Manager: San Francisco Bay area, CA

This role is responsible for campaign strategy, account planning, and managing & developing a high performance digital marketing team.

Responsibilities:
- Define online marketing campaign strategy and guide a team of digital marketing analysts to execute those strategies
- Define, track, and communicate key performance indicators and success metrics to clients.
- Identify and implement opportunities for optimization, including but not limited to advertising creative and landing page optimization, bid management, and budget allocation.
- Developing and teaching Jr. Team members in the ways of direct response digital media.
- Leverage statistical & predictive analysis and let data guide campaign decisions.

Position Expectations:
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in either paid search or paid display media for direct response.
- Exposure and interest in personnel development, teaching and coaching team members.
- Show absolute attention to detail and a strong capacity for problem solving.
- Be a true team player with the ability to have fun!

Requirements:
- 3-5 years of previous search or display marketing experience
- Previous experience managing people and leading their personal development, preferred but not required
- Previous experience working with clients in an agency setting, preferred but not required
- Proficient in Excel with capacity to utilize formulas, pivot tables and macros
- Bachelor's degree
