Manager of Business Optimization: Phoenix, AZ

Our client, a multi-channel retailer is seeking a Manager of Business Optimization who manages cross-functional project teams that are responsible for delivering new Omni-Channel capabilities that create multi channel customer behavior, drive higher share of wallet and higher lifetime value. This role will ensure that Omni-Channel capabilities are designed to deliver the highest customer value, minimize organizational complexity and costs, and support sales and metrics plan across platforms.

Responsibilities:
•Develop Omni-Channel business capabilities that enable selling products, engaging customers, and create new customer experiences, with goal of driving sales, conversion, CTR, and overall Conversion Rate.
•Work closely with store team, digital buying and product content teams to implement key business optimizations that will drive breakthrough omni-channel performance and build a leading digital commerce experience
•Optimize current omni-channel experiences including In-Store Availability (ISA);In-Store Associate Devices; Associate Ordering (AOS); In-Store Pick-up (ISPU); Ship From Store (SFS); and Scheduled Delivery (SD)
•Act as the link between information technology capabilities (IS) and business objectives to ensure that new and improved business processes and capabilities are seamless across all systems and interfaces.
•Lead a cross functional team in the development of business requirements and operational policies & procedures to deliver customer experience tests, pilots, and rollouts within budget and on time.
•Develops strong relationships and facilitates collaboration and alignment across all key cross-functional areas.
•Responsible for the development, coordination and maintenance of status updates, workflow documents, project plans, budgets, issue logs, and meeting management for complex projects.
•Serve as the Subject Matter expert related to the new capabilities and processes inclusive of garnering and integrating best practices and learnings from other non-compete retailers.
•Effectively manage and communicate Omni capability intent and positively motivate and drive stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
•Manage the development of project scope, intended business objectives, and determination of key measurement metrics.
•Responsible for effectively communicating project status updates in a timely and accurate manner to the Director and cross-functional leadership team.
•Leverage project management methods and standards to ensure project results meet/exceed expectations
•Lead cross-functional teams in the definition, analysis, and documentation of complex business requirements to support new Omni capabilities.
•Partner with internal and external partners to plan, develop, and deliver role-based, stakeholder training for assigned Omni capabilities.

Requirements:
•Bachelors degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing or equivalent work experience
•5-7 years business experience in an enterprise level organization required.
•2-4+ years of project management experience preferred.
•2-3+ years of business analysis experience preferred.
•Retail Industry experience preferred.
•Demonstrate and articulate an understanding of how the technical solutions impact the business.
•Understand the latest technology trends, new functionality and market demands.
•Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
•Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
•Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft office applications, including intermediate capabilities with Excel and Word
•High degree of internet savvy, with a curiosity and enthusiasm for digital trends
•Excellent problem solving skills able to identify, analyze and propose solutions to various technical and business issues
•Above average command of English; proficiency with a variety of writing styles
•Good design aesthetic and a strong ability to judge visual appearance, ensuring alignment with brand and enterprise standards
•Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, self-starter environment serving as a catalyst for change and managing multiple work streams simultaneously
•The ability to understand and explain complex issues, but also clearly identify and communicate the situation at a high level
•The ability to use and understand financial and numerical data to make decisions and influence outcomes
•Ability to synthesize data, identify trends and recommend viable solutions
•Exhibit professional initiative and entrepreneurial drive
