Email Automation Marketing Manager: Malvern, PA

The Email Automation Marketing Manager is responsible for the successful development, execution, and analysis of triggered email marketing series. This person will want to push the boundaries of what's next in email automation. Core responsibilities include analysis and strategy development, series/behavior development and execution, database/contact and throttling management, testing and optimization.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Senior strategic oversight over all trigger based campaigns
  • Create 100% automated campaigns growing email revenue.
  • Focus behavioral and customer data to make decisions on next steps and automation.
  • Develop/Deploy weekly campaigns for all 6 stores keeping segmentation and behavior data in mind
  • Strategic Triggered Seris Development, Execution, and Analysis
    • Make data driven decisions to develop future campaigns and improve year over year metrics
    • Work closely with the design team to produce exciting email creative that helps drive traffic and sales
    • Lead subject line creation to improve open rates based on performance of previous campaigns
    • Maintain the logistics behind daily email deployment of all trigger email campaigns and related projects
    • Strategically create future monthly email calendars
    • Analyze weekly Email marketing metrics keeping future campaigns and contact management in mind
  • Testing & Optimization
    • Propose and execute new and meaningful tests that will improve metrics across multiple campaigns
    • Focus on the improvement of key performance indicators such as open rate and click-through rate
    • Create and maintain an ongoing email campaign test schedule to ensure consistent testingLeverage the use of personalized email recommendations and behavioral data to create a unique email experience for all active users
  • Project Management and Execution
    • Working knowledge of ESP and third-party Recommendations provider for campaign set-up and reporting
    • Utilize Email Service Provider tools to create/adjust Automations for trigger campaigns
    • Independently manage multiple projects from start to finish, while contributing to other email marketing efforts including strategy and brainstorming
    • Ensure all email campaigns are deployed accurately by implementing a strict QA process to catch any mistakes before deployment

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of email experience is required
  • Strategy Development
  • Analyze key metrics that lead to data driven decisions
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Able to prioritize an ever changing workload
  • Experience using an Email Service Provider platform is preferred or has demonstrated the ability to learn other similar web based tools
  • Minor HTML coding experience
