Director – Website and Program Analytics: New York, NY

Our client is searching for a Director of Website and Program Analytics candidate.  You will manage the day-to-day digital analytic needs. S/he will oversee digital analytics strategy and implementation and develop and enhance reporting processes, dashboards and marketing program wrap ups providing key insights and analysis that will help the organization achieve key performance objectives (KPI's). Responsibilities include but are not limited to, development of key website KPIs, monitoring trends and opportunities to make data driven recommendations for enhancements, author and present cross-channel marketing program wrap up reports that provide key insights for areas of program improvements and development of monthly, bi-annual and ad hoc analytic reports.  S/he will collaborate and support a variety of departments across the organization including marketing, UX, editorial, social, research, membership and digital product teams.  Presentations to stakeholders and fellow staff members will be a key component of responsibilities. Reporting to the VP of Digital Strategy and Partnerships, this person will work across the organization to elevate our digital analytics program.
 
Their ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, customer-focused and have extensive, multi-year website and marketing program digital analytics experience utilizing Omniture and Google Analytics tools.
 
 
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee digital analytics strategy and implementation for B2C and B2B websites
  • Oversee digital analytic research needs of the organization
  • Conduct in-depth analysis on consumer and trade website behavior
  • Develop KPIs for all digital initiatives and implement complementary tracking configurations
  • Develop user-based stories about demonstrated consumer behavior and how it changes over time
  • Analyze and track website content performance
  • Develop and present cross-channel monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports on key metrics and trends for all digital channels including website, email, social and direct channels utilizing data driven insights to make recommendations
  • Work collaboratively with the product, UX and editorial teams to develop personalization approach to website
  • Work collaboratively with the digital product and UX teams to implement A/B testing of different website layouts
  • Work closely with SEO manager to optimize reach to digital channels
  • Liaise with media agencies to ensure tracking is in place for paid media campaigns and collaborate with internal teams to optimize campaign performance
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop program analytic reports and recommendations for program enhancements
  • Develop user pathing analysis to enhance customer journey to reduce bounce and increase engagement, length of time of site and eCommerce optimization
  • Serve as organization's evangelist for data driven initiatives and decisions
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Conduct on going competitive benchmarking
  • Keep abreast of industry trends

 
Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of proven web analytics experience resulting in website and marketing program enhancements
  • Extensive knowledge of the digital space including a variety analytics and measurement tools (Omniture, Google Analytics, Web Trends), UX, eCommerce and content measurement methodology
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SEO and Social Media
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Powerpoint), Google Analytics, Adobe Digital Marketing Cloud (Analytics, Target, Client)
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and follow up skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize work load
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
