Acquisition Marketing Manager: San Francisco, CA

Our client is looking for an analytical, curious and driven acquisition marketer to lead their customer acquisition and loyalty efforts. The Acquisition Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving efficient new customer acquisition across paid search, social and affiliate channels, leading all aspects of the acquisition funnel.  This person will lead the strategic plan and day-to-day management of these highly important channels, ensuring that they are growing their advertising and acquisition efforts in a smart, nimble and scalable way.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the strategy and execution of all digital acquisition channels including Facebook/Instagram ads, Google AdWords, affiliate marketing, referral marketing and social media acquisition.
  • Partner with creative and brand marketing to launch engaging social media stories and digital advertising campaigns across relevant and strategic social media platforms that drive customers to the site.
  • Work with web development, merchandising and customer experience teams to understand the online customer experience funnel and increase onsite conversion. Own the strategy and execution of all website conversion tactics like transactional emails and retargeting ads.
  • Identify and execute communications and special events to increase customer loyalty/repurchases.
  • Responsible for reporting all key metrics and KPIs across all acquisition channels to business managers.

 
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 - 8 years of strong consumer acquisition marketing experience.
  • A solid understanding of acquisition management with ability to articulate and implement best practices.
  • Strong familiarity with performance tracking and measurement tools. (e.g. pixels, UMTs, attribution windows) A strong understanding of the ad network ecosystem.
  • Proficient at using Excel as an analytics tool.
  • Process oriented – capable of analyzing new acquisition opportunities and assess success potential.
  • Outstanding communications skills – both written and spoken.
