Sr. Manager CRM, Strategic Planning Group: LA area
Our client, a multi-channel retailer, is seeking a Sr. Manager CRM, Strategic Planning Group in their Los Angeles, CA offices. Great opportunity to join this is a rapidly-growing organization. This position is part of a group working on high priority, next generation capabilities and campaigns. This position is responsible for driving the execution and analysis of marketing efforts for the company brand across all channels (Retail stores, online, catalog, call centers, etc).
As part of a shared-services group, the role requires a strong consulting mentality. Focused on the maximization of customer lifetime value, the individual must be a strategic thinker who can recognize opportunities, utilize analytics to identify marketing opportunities, and make recommendations to increase marketing efficacy. This position requires leadership skills, strategic thinking and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Lead a team responsible for the coordination, management, and analysis of promotions as executed by email/digital, direct mail, catalog, and phone. Through the skillful use of Unica software, SQL, analysis tools & Microstrategy s/he will successfully lead analysis and targeted marketing programs to drive and prove out ROI.
Responsibilities:
Manage and mentor a team and foster effective consulting mentality. Collaborate with Brand Marketing team. Work cross-functionally to identify and implement growth and profit enhancing strategies. Design and implement pilot tests to evaluate and make recommendations for go-live strategies. Oversee the implementation of tests and campaigns across channels, coordinating roll out across outbound and inbound channels using Unica Campaign & other tools. Build financial models & proformas. Play a lead role in defining the customer database roadmap and functionality – requires a clear vision for turning strategy into action. Optimize usage of data warehouse systems, reporting tools, and Unica. Develop and present PowerPoint presentations to business units and senior management and drive to prioritized alignment and ROI cases. Assist with the development of recommendations, strategies, tactics, and future testing. Develop CRM process and workflow infrastructure and manage SLA’s and ongoing process. Experience utilizing CRM tools (e.g. Unica, Call center Apps, Microstrategy, etc.) and email delivery tools.
Qualifications:
Include BS/BA degree and 5-10 years experience in database marketing with experience managing a team. Understanding of experimental design (e.g. A-B testing) and incremental lift calculations. Understanding of SQL and relational data models. Experience in the application of strategic segmentation & predictive models. Strong facilitation, process documentation, problem solving, and infrastructure building experience. Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment; self-starter with ability to support multiple work streams to meet deadlines. Experience with sophisticated email and web personalization a plus. Computing Skills: CRM software (Unica experience strongly preferred), PowerPoint, Visio, Excel. SQL skills a plus.
