Assistant Manager of Web Operations/QA: Ridgefield, NJ
Our client, a large multi-channel retailer, seeks and experienced web operations and QA professional. This position will drive the strategy and execution of the company's online initiatives - including web property development, e-commerce tools, product innovation and strategic partnerships. The assistant manager's primary role is to provide project management and champion key initiatives to deliver an industry-leading online experience for the organization.
Responsibilities:
Work in conjunction with an online and internal IT team, as well as external design and technical resources as needed. Manage the production of website for assigned divisions and product groups. Maintain the schedule of product page rollouts and product categories and ensure they are updated on a timely basis. Manage the offers, promotions and retail partner content. Plan and develop integrated educational content. Work with product launch groups to ensure product recommendation tools are up-to-date and accurate. Maintain liaison with support webmaster and achieve overall harmonization between product and support sections. Responsible for creation of and adherence to content and style guidelines.
Qualifications:
Include BS degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in managing a large scale website through a web content management system, processes and agencies. Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Working knowledge of HTML and experience with popular content management systems (specifically Interwoven/Teamsite). Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Basic Adobe Photoshop skills
• Equipped with up-to-date knowledge about the up-and-coming web technologies and their implications to corporate websites.

• Comfortable with dealing with various entities that are located geographically apart.
Compensation:
Salary in the $75,000 to $95,000 range commensurate with education and experience. Bonus eligible opportunity.
