Assistant Manager of Analytics: Ridgefield, NJ
Our client, a large multi-channel retailer, seeks and experienced analytics professional to review data and make recommendations for company website and related online properties. Reporting to the Manager of Web Analytics, the Assistant Manager will analyze website performance and trends; influence site optimization decisions; and manage third-party relationships.
Responsibilities:
Tasks include generating reports, providing analysis and insights, maintaining the integrity of data collection and using data to drive decision-making across the organization. Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly reports & respond to ad hoc data requests. Maintain and make recommendations to enhance comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analytics platform for website and digital marketing. Collaborate with technical resources to ensure all links & pages are properly tagged with Omniture code. Partner closely with product team on tagging and enhancements to Omniture reporting suite and any third-party integrations with Omniture data/system. Analysis of information & recommendations for improvements/resolution of issues. Subject matter expert for Omniture & social activity measurement. Proactively perform root-cause analysis to provide insight into performance when new trends emerge. Manage creation and timely delivery of site dashboards. Provide data-driven business insights that influence fundamental improvements to the site. Deliver insights that help business partners understand behavior of visitors to the site. Gather business requirements for new tagging requests. Ensure site tagging provides necessary visibility into impact and value of new initiatives or new product releases. Drive standardization and governance of analytics, creating and distributing best practices.
Qualifications:
Include BS degree a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience, with at least two years in a quantitative role. Minimum of 1-2 years of Omniture experience preferred. Experience with Customer Satisfaction Surveys. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills combined with strong business acumen. Superior analytical and quantitative skills and a desire to continually search for data. A demonstrated ability to present analyses in a compelling manner that is easy to understand. Demonstrated ability to generate innovative insights from rigorous analysis and influence business strategies and results. A team player who can work with multiple cross-functional groups, including business and technical teams. A service oriented can-do attitude. Agency management experience a plus.
Compensation:
Salary in the $65,000 to $80,000 range commensurate with education and experience. Bonus eligible opportunity.
