Campaign and Reporting Specialist: Boston, MA
The Campaign and Reporting Specialist is responsible for translating campaign requirements of Direct Marketing departments into timely and efficient campaign selections utilizing the Unica Affinium Campaign tool. In addition, this position will work collaboratively with business owners to generate key Direct Marketing reports including: customer segmentation counts and campaign response measurement.
Principal Accountabilities:
Serve as power user for campaign selection and reporting tools to advance awareness and adoption throughout Direct Marketing.
Collaborate with leaders of Direct Marketing departments to identify campaign and reporting needs.
Create documentation for business owners to include: selection requirements, campaign briefs, campaign selection process flows and audit reports.
Develop a comprehensive campaign schedule including Catalog Circulation, Specialty Circulation, Online Marketing and Customer Relationship Marketing contacts, as well as, key dates for database hygiene and merge processes.
Oversee prospect merge/purge including the following activities: provide instructions for processing input files, review merge counts and identify files to be applied to database including application of rental hit counters.
Identify efficiencies and best practices in campaigns and reports and provide feedback to database users on how to improve run-time and accuracy.
Execute circulation tests for Catalog Circulation, Specialty Circulation, Online Marketing and Customer Relationship Marketing at the direction of business owners.
Collect end user feedback on application performance and functionality and share relevant issues with Unica and Business Objects administrators.
Collaborate with application administrators to implement software updates, patches and fixes.
Ensure that database improvements and changes are correctly incorporated into existing campaigns and reports.
Identify inconsistencies in data marts and data warehouse and provide feedback to database marketing team.
Qualifications:
5+ yrs experience Campaign & Reporting Specialist in Circulation Management or Customer Relationship Marketing role.
Ability to manage multiple projects at once with a sense of urgency.
Ability to synthesize complex requirements into simple business practices.
Strong communicator capable of delivering concise messages to various audiences (technical and non-technical).
Analytical thinking and problem solving ability.
Strong working knowledge of Unica Affinium Campaign and Business Objects.
Strong working knowledge of MS applications including MS Access.
Hands-on experience using data mining software such as SAS or equivalent.
Compensation:
Salary in the $60,000 to $80,000 range commensurate with education and experience.
