Chief Engineer - Precision Transducers: Buffalo, NY area
Expanding engineering company needs a hands-on engineer for it’s machine shop facility. Company makes precision pressure transducers that are used in applications for industrial OEM’s, fluid power, hydraulic systems, fuel cells, medical gases, HVAC/R, water management, oil and gas exploration, aerospace, scientific research, aircraft ground support and military. Many of the company’s products offer UL/cUL CSA approvals for hazardous environments. The company's unique expertise is providing sensors specifically designed and manufactured to meet application conditions. All the design, manufacturing, assembly, testing and calibration are done in house. All digital series transmitters are manufactured and tested in environmental chambers that simulate the customer's exact operating pressure and temperature conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal experience is an engineer with machine shop background and has design manufacturing, assembly, testing and calibration background. Must have solid background with fully automated CNC machinery and manual machine shop procedures and welding procedures. AAS or BS in electrical or mechanical engineering desired.
An excellent opportunity for a senior engineer to take on additional duties in running an established machine shop operation.
COMPENSATION:
Salary in the $65,000 to $80,000 range + bonus opportunity. Full company benefits offered.
