Senior Marketing Campaign Analyst: Los Angeles
The information, analysis, and recommendations of this candidate are critical to business decision making and to the growth of the Company business enterprise wide.
Responsibilities
• Provide closed-loop marketing support, including responsibility for the construction of campaigns in Unica as well as post-campaign and ad-hoc customer analysis.
• Design, test and execute campaigns, segments, offers and personalization rules within the Unica tool to support business goals. This includes developing and implementing personalized direct and e-marketing communications in keeping with the marketing criteria for each mailing based on each customer segment and defined marketing strategy.
• Play a key role in the development of circulation plans, test and control plans and other operational aspects of customer campaign execution
• Responsible for relationship with marketers running campaigns requiring list pulls
• Support organizational learning around the drivers of response, incremental spend and customer lifetime value
• Analyze, interpret and optimize campaign performance including accurate circulation, promotion analyses, new models or segmentation strategies.
• Assist with the development of recommendations, strategies, tactics, and future testing based on analyses
• Prepare functional specifications for set up of systems and processes. Serve as SME and user acceptance tester for CRM tools & technologies
• Develop powerpoint presentations to communicate and align on key findings and recommendations and communicate timely results and recommendations to management
Requirements:
• Experience utilizing list pull tools (e.g. SQL, Unica, etc.) and email delivery tools, including proficiency with SQL and relational data models
• 2-6 years’ experience in a database marketing execution/execution management is required, including Unica or equivalent software experience
• Strong grasp of direct response/database marketing, customer relationship management, customer data management, customer lifetime value, consumer behavior and motivation.
• Understanding of experimental design (e.g. A-B testing) and analytical modeling application for improved targeting a huge plus
• Experience in the application of strategic segmentation & predictive models. Experience with sophisticated email and web personalization a plus.
• Well-defined problem identification/solution skills related to business applications
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment; self-starter with ability to support multiple work streams to meet deadlines.
• Interpretative capabilities and analytical curiosity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – written & oral. Ability to analyze and synthesize financial data and research into clear, concise presentations for senior leaders.
• BS/BA Degree
• Computing Skills: SQL, Advanced Excel skills (particularly with business modeling and analytics), CRM software, PowerPoint
