Senior Project Manager / Estimator, Pre-Construction Manager - Hotels: Buffalo, NY
Expanding hotel construction company needs an experienced Project Manager or Estimator for pre-construction duties.
Responsibilities:
Directs, and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget.
- communicates with and reviews status reports prepared by project superintendent and modifies schedules or plans as required
- negotiates all contracts, purchase orders, and changes in scope of work to ensure lowest cost impact to clients
- serves as the main point of contact between the owner and other project entities including architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, vendors, and municipalities
- trains and provides guidance and subject matter expertise to junior PMs in department
Estimator/PreCon Manager Duties Would Include:
- creating conceptual budgets & estimates
- bidding process
- document review & value engineering
- contract negotiations
- design build management
- subject matter expert
- high amount of client interaction
Qualifications:
Must have good previous hotel construction experience. Open education, but AAS or BS preferred and 5-10 years of experience as outlined above.
Compensation:
Salary in the $75,000 to $95,000 range commensurate with education and experience. Full company benefits.
