Process Engineer: Niagara Falls
Our client has an immediate opening for a Process Engineer at its Niagara Falls, NY location.
This position is responsible for supporting the Engineering Department and production process systems.
Education & Requirements:
• BS / MS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of Bio Chemistry.
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC’s and AutoCad.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Knowledge of equipment layouts and drawings.
• Process system construction specifications.
• Ensure that all Health and Safety procedures and initiatives are followed.
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
Typical Duties and Functions:
• Learn manufacturing process though OJT and classroom settings.
• Material and energy balances
• Process Engineering calculations and specifications
• Report project status and be accountable for tasks and deliverables.
• Assist in equipment, material, and process systems selection.
• Assist and support all engineering proposals, projects and goals.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
• While performing duties of this job, would be required to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, kneel,
bend, talk and hear.
• Must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
• Overtime may be necessary as workload’s dictate. This may include holidays and weekends.
• Job will be performed in an industrial/construction environment where specific PPE will be required.
