SEO/SEM Manager: Atlanta, GA
My client, a large Pharmaceutical and Consumer Healthcare company headquartered in Marietta, GA seeks an SEO/SEM Manager to help grow the search engine marketing initiatives of the company. This individual will be a key contributor to the E-Commerce Team. The ideal candidate should be proactive and thrive working independently in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Search Engine Optimization:
- Manage day-to-day SEO operations for each market including new product initiatives, content development, link building, and reporting & analysis
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and requirements and identify SEO growth opportunities
- Define, monitor, and analyze SEO key performance indicators (KPI's) to continually improve campaigns
- Compile industry research, competitive landscape information, and trade intelligence for SEO strategy development and optimization.
- Serve as SEO thought-leader by providing guides, resources and presentations to the marketing and creative teams
- Stay abreast of new natural search engine optimization developments and opportunities in the SEO domain and incorporate into ongoing campaign management
- Continually leverage new tools & industry best practices to ensure company product(s) remains a leader in search engine optimization
Search Engine Marketing:
- Deep knowledge of Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing and MSN AdCenter/Bing
- Set-up, implementation, and management of pay-per-click campaigns in multiple verticals
- Ad copy creation, testing, and optimization
- Budget management and allocation
- Testing of keyword, ad copy, landing page strategies
- Optimize accounts for maximum results and meet client goals (CPL/ROI)
- Reporting and analysis of pay-per-click campaigns
- Experience managing Search Ignite platform preferred
- Manage third party vendors
- Work with Director of E-Commerce on overall Search Marketing Strategy
Skills:
Requirements and Technical Skills:
- 5 yrs exp. including 3+ yrs of search engine optimization experience (natural / organic search marketing) a must
- Must be fluent in the search landscape, including search engine algorithms and ranking strategies
- Exp. w/Omniture SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics, or similar web analytics tools prefered
- Experience with keyword research and search engine ranking and analysis tools
- General understanding of HTML, CSS, and web server environments
- High attention to detail, and ability to effectively manage multiple projects
- Ability to work independently and synthesize large amounts of data while meeting tight deadlines
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science or related required
This position reports directly to Director of E-Commerce
