Tax Senior Manager - Rochester
A major expanding regional CPA firm is seeking a Senior Tax Manager for their Rochester, NY office. This position is responsible for the day to day delivery of tax consulting and compliance services to middle market clients covering a variety of industries and technical areas. Duties include the utilization, supervision and development of staff. Incumbent must be capable of identifying opportunities for additional tax services at existing clients as well as potential targets. Strong communication and relationship management skills are critical. Firm has extensive experience in a diverse range of industries, and is highly qualified to serve the many privately held companies of Western New York.
Education:
BS Accounting, CPA.
Qualifications:
5 - 7 years of strong technical tax background advising U.S. companies on their domestic tax strategy. Experience in corporate tax research, consulting and compliance in a professional services firm, industry, and/or law firm is essential. Highly motivated individual interested in taking the initiative for own personal growth and development.
Demonstrated ability to identify tax consulting opportunities. Willingness to aggressively market services to existing and prospective clients. Client service orientation combined with creative problem solving skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage a team of tax professionals.
Compensation:
Salary range is $125,000 to $200,000 commensurate with education and experience.
